About 15 to 20 kilometres from the villa are the towns of Labin and Rabac, two neighbouring towns, one is a coastal town and the other is located a few kilometres inland in Istria. The town of Labin is a perfect place for art and history lovers, and the other town is known for its beautiful beaches and excellent gastronomy. If you want to explore the wider region of Istria, you can plan trips by car to Pula and Rovinj, two ancient Roman towns on the coast. Both are about an hour's drive away and you can spend the whole day exploring each, as they are full of famous historical sights, such as the Arena in Pula or the Church of St Euphemia in Rovinj.
