In the immediate vicinity of the apartment there are restaurants, cafes, small shops and the park. The island-wide known cabaret Lachmöwe can be reached after only 100m walk. Before the apartment complex Baaber B��derbahn holds which can be used free of charge with visitor's card. The Rügen round bike path runs through Baabe and opens up next to the very scenic Mönchgut peninsula, the second largest forest area of ​​the island, the Granitz. Many attractions can reach from Baabe also hiking enthusiasts on the well-signposted local and long-distance hiking trails on individual or guided tours.
