Apartment in the historical center of Lisbon, in S. Benedict, in a building that survived the earthquake of 1755. It is a historical house, picturesque and atypical architecture, typical of Lisbon. The real thing. It is 2 min walk from the metro, buses, post office, pharmacy, typical restaurants, supermarkets and 5 min from tram 28, Jardim da Estrela and Basilica. You can walk there in 10-15 min. to Chiado, to Bairro Alto. 5 min. are in Rossio or Rua Augusta.

This is a 70m2 house of peculiar architecture, pre-Pombaline, so typical of Lisbon. This architectural diversity, in the process of extinction, has been my home for 14 years. During this time, she welcomed friends from all over the world. And she likes it :) It is a semi-ground floor (half basement, half floor of the ground) comfortable and warm, just as I want it to be for you. More than my clients, you are my guests. The 300-year-old building, with thick walls, is made from the sand of the river Tagus and walnut, which allows the interior to be cooler in the winter and cool in summer. The bedroom and living room are interiors but the house has natural light with exclusive access to the terrace. It has a double bed and a single bed, TV, ceramic hob and oven, extractor fan, electric kettle, ironing board and iron, hair dryer and washing machine. Heaters are available in the house as the building does not have central heating. Shampoo and shower gel are also included. There is a small barbecue on the terrace.

The building has stairs a little steep and narrow, not advisable for people with mobility difficulties
