The Torre Moro is located in Galatone, along the road to Santa Maria al Bagno. Its construction dates back to the second half of the seventeenth century and is what remains of a large fortified farmhouse, called "Massaria Vasce" which belonged to the Moro family.
Over the years subjected to various restoration interventions, Torre Moro still retains the characteristics of seventeenth-century military architecture.
Galatone is a quiet town in Salento that enjoys a privileged position for those who want to spend a stay immersed in the authentic Salento atmosphere.
Torre Moro is located five minutes from Santa Maria al Bagno, ten minutes from the beaches of Gallipoli and the rocky unspoiled coasts of Porto Selvaggio and Santa Caterina. Lecce, emblem of the Baroque, can be reached in twenty minutes. Otranto and Leuca are thirty minutes away from Torre Moro.
