Cars are not allowed at Borgo di Spereto; each guest can drive in with a golf cart to unload their luggage.

Excursions to San Gimignano, Volterra and San Vivaldo (known as the Tuscan Jerusalem) can be organised from Montaione. The beaches of the Etruscan Coast can be easily reached in an hour's drive. You can also visit the historic village of San Miniato and stop for a truffle lunch. About 3 km away you will find an equestrian centre where you can organise a horse ride. A renowned golf course is only 10 minutes away by car. The region is ideal for mountain biking.
