Novigradis a small town and port on the west coast of Istria, built during the Roman period. The old part of Novigrad is located on a small peninsula near the mouth of Mirna river. Novigrad is known for its narrow medieval streets, the old town walls, and the basilica of St. Pelages in the centre of town. It is located between towns Umag and Porec.
The usual tourist offer is complemented by hunting in the valley of the river Mirna, canoe safari on the river Mirna and exploring the seabed of Novigrad.
Town is made up of many small and narrow streets, tiny shops and basically everywhere you go you will feel the scent of the sea which makes Novigrad amazing.
