Villa Talia offers sea views and mountain scenery combined with fresh modern interiors to make this pearl an exceptional holiday home for small groups or couples. The Sicilian architect, Sandro Giacomarra, skillfully designed Villa Talia on the mountainside to maximise the incredible sea views. The result is a sea view from almost every room and outside space. Approaching the villa you will find the shaded outdoor dining and kitchen area before you enter the house. A large decked terrace made from restored African hardwood railway sleepers runs the length of the house. The cooling plunge pool, relaxing deckchairs and sofa provide plenty of opportunities to unwind. The shaded dining terrace is by the lawn just off the kitchen. The outdoor kitchen is complete with a stove and washbasin - a lovely spot for lazy lunches cooked on the barbecue or in the wood-oven overlooking the sea. Please note: The discreet owner of Villa Talia owns a small wooden house about 15 metres from Villa Talia where he stays for the weekend to be on hand for guests arriving/departing and for any further assistance. The pool is not visible from the wooden house, but the driveway is shared between the two houses. The access road leading up to the villa is steep and narrow, and drivers should be prepared to reverse when necessary to let another car pass.



Interior:

A modern colour palette of greys and whites is peppered with splashes of summer colours in the fabrics and artworks around the villa, giving it a unique character and style. Upon entering the villa you are greeted by the open living space with its kitchen. The contemporary open plan living area with large comfortable sofas, kitchen and dining area also has the floor to ceiling windows out to the decked terrace and those magnificent views. In the corridor that leads to the bedrooms is a small workstation. To follow are the two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with shower and the two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed and the one has two queen-size beds. Guests can enjoy sea views from bed with floor to ceiling windows in both the bedrooms. Ground floor: living / dining area and kitchen, small workstation, glass sliding doors leading out to a decked terrace, shaded outside dining area and plunge pool. One bathroom with a bath and one bathroom with shower. One double bedroom with French windows out to the garden and one twin bedroom with queen-size beds.



Park:

Behind the outdoor dining space is a small kitchen garden with fresh herbs and seasonal vegetables that guests can use as well as a small table with 4 chairs. The terrace that runs along the length of the house is partly with lawn and the odd olive tree to give shade and partly with decking.

Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.



Swimming Pool:

The small pool measures 2,5m x 3m 1,5 m deep and overhangs the cliffside. The pool is open from April 1st to October 31st.
