Located on the third floor, there is a bright and airy open-plan living/dining room with balcony access. Here the room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs, a flat-screen TV and the dining area seats four. This area opens to the balcony showcasing stunning mountain views, wonderful for a quiet drink. The full kitchen is well equipped with a cooker hob, Fridge Freezer, Microwave, dishwasher and fondu allowing for an easy and carefree self-catering holiday. The apartment benefits from central heating and Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout.

Location

The apartment is well located in the centre of town and as such is close to grocery stores, bars and restaurants. During your stay here, you will also be able to take advantage of Bardonecchia’s main attractions as well as ski slopes. Bardonecchia is world famous for hosting snowboard competitions during the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic Games! Its 21 ski lifts and 100km of slopes are a paradise for any ski and snowboard lover.

The ski resort is divided into two main areas, the slopes closest to town at Campo Smith are busier with ski school and the gentler slopes, are an easy 15-minute walk. Here you will also find the ski lifts to the Colomion, Les Arnauds and Melezet slopes. A ski shuttle bus is also available which stops at Camp Smith as well as the Jafferau ski lifts.

Bardonecchia is not only a winter destination but a summer alpine resort as well. A 15-minute walk away you’ll find the Alpine Roller Coaster, fun for all the family. Several hiking and climbing trails for all levels of experience start in the town and work their way up to higher elevations.

Bardonecchia train station is a convenient 5-minute walk, with hourly trains to Turin. Turin Station has excellent connections to Southern Italy and France Turin International airport is the closest airport to the vacation home, with a journey time of approximately 80 minutes by car.
