A clever conversion of a classic Tuscan barn, Treggiaia provides comfortable accommodation for a small family or couples. With a swimming pool directly in front of the house, a tennis court to one side and air-con in the bedrooms, this house has all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday. Entrance is into the main room which occupies the entire ground floor and includes a living area with a sofa bed in front of a fireplace, a long trestle dining table for 10, and a kitchen at the back of the main living area. A spiral staircase tucked in the corner of the main room leads up to a small sitting area with wicker chairs and a table overlooking the pool, off of which are a shower room with twin sinks, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, both of which are air-conditioned.

The train station at the bottom of the hill gives easy access to the famous historic art centres of Tuscany, like Florence and Arezzo. The swimming pool is 12 x 6 metres, depth 1.30 to 2.50 metres. steps in to the shallow end and hydromassage jets with submerged seating. Tennis court on site, with some rackets and balls available. The pool is sometimes used by the family who live nearby - generally some weekends in August but can be at other times.
