In the green forests between Città di Castello in Umbria and Arezzo in Tuscany, is this private farmhouse with a swimming pool. It is set underneath the ruins of the Castle of Ranco, once a strategic point between the two cities. Do you want to unwind, relax, and breathe clean air? This is the place to be, far away from the buzz of the city. 

One arrives via a small country lane, uphill through the forest, that leads you to the top, where the medieval castle once stood proud. The farmhouse is built with the typical stone of the area, wooden beams, and tiled floors. All is kept the way it was as much as possible.

There is a well-kept lawn, a lovely terrace with a pizza oven, and a fenced swimming pool. All around is the green forest.

On the first floor are three bedrooms. Two have a double bed, one has two single beds. There are two bathrooms on this floor, one with a shower and the other with a bath.

Downstairs is the kitchen, which also has a dishwasher. There is a sitting room and an entrance with a bar.

Extras to pay on site:
- consumption of electricity €0,45/kWh (on average €80 to €100 per week)
- consumption of gas €6/m3
- final cleaning €150
- if you bring your dog: €50/week
- Tourist tax: €3/night for 4 nights for >12 yrs

The security deposit of €300 must be paid in cash upon arrival. This will be returned before departure, provided no serious damage has occurred during your stay. The extra costs, as outlined above, will be deducted.
