Also, you maytake small ferries to take you to the centre of Thessaloniki, which is a lovely city, in only 50 min. by sea! The most magnificent sunset in the bay of Thermaikos! In Thessaloniki you may visit the Byzantine church of St. Sophia, the byzantine castles, the White tower and go for shopping to the fantastic centre of the city. One has to walk to Aristotelous square which is quite unique in Europe, have coffee to one of the charming cafes in the centre of the city and walk all the big boulevard of the city by the sea!
