the house, built in 2011, is located in Charente Maritime in the village of MATHES LA PALMYRE, a small village of 2000 inhabitants located in the center of the forest of the Curve on the peninsula of Arvert.
The village of Mathes corresponds to the city center with schools, town hall and shops. La Palmyre built by the sea in the 1960s, concentrates most of the economic activities of the town including the famous zoo, one of the largest zoos in Europe.
The house is located in a quiet area in the center of the village with its bakery, shops and market.
The beaches (La Palmyre, Grande Côte and the wild coast) are between 6 and 10 km by car, they are also accessible by bike from the bike paths from the town.
A lot of activities are organized during the summer period.
Feel free to come and enjoy this region with its sunshine, 2,250 hours per year, it is comparable to that which knows a part of the Mediterranean coast.
