Situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area and a few minutes walk from the centre of La Chapelle d’Abondance, « Le Grenier »
has an ideal location: whilst being calm and in close proximity to the ski slopes and all conveniences, it offers stunning views on the Dents
du Midi.
The village of La Chapelle d’Abondance (Haute Savoie), 5 min fromChâtel, 40 min from Lake Léman and Thonon-les-Bains and at an
elevation of 1000m(3280 ft) is perfectly suited for a family holiday.
In the summer, on foot or on a mountain bike, explore 750km ofmarked paths between Switzerland and France.
Discover the pleasures of rafting, canoeing or other whitewater sports as well as fishing, rock-climbing, paragliding or simply swimming in
the picturesque open-air pool in Châtel.
The proximity to Lake Léman and Switzerland enhances the diversity of possible activities. The Abondance Valley is a region rich in art
and history; guided tours of the various sites are available.
During the winter, take part in downhill or crosscountry skiing and engage on beautiful hikes on snowshoes. Explore 650km of ski slopes
connecting France and Switzerland.
Ski schools are well organized and offer classes for all levels; there is a large selection of rental shops for hiring skis.
The ski slopes (Braitaz area, Torgon-Valais link to Super-Châtel and Linga) and crosscountry skiing routes are approximately 400m away from the
chalet.

fridge/freezer).
Complete set of kitchenware including a pressure-cooker, a raclette machine, a fondue pot and an electric coffeemaker.
Lounge area with a sofa, a flat-screen television (18 channels including French TNT) and a Hi-fi stereo (CD, cassette-tapes, radio,
DVD).

- 2 bedroom : “Sous la Corne” and “LeMont chauffé” (12 m2 each) with 1 double bed
- 1 bedroom: Sous les cornettes” (20 m2) for 6 people (1 double bed each, 4 beds side by side 1 person)

1 extra canvas cot is present if needed
