Ideally located, neat decoration, any comfort, very calm, entirely renovated, in the middle of the village. All bathrooms have a toilet.
The house is an old fisherman's house that has been enlarged. It was completely renovated in 2009. One bedroom (double bed + bathroom + WC) with independent access by stairs in the courtyard.

The village of Portes en Ré is the most 'chic' village on the Ile de Ré. The house is in the heart of the village at the bottom of a dead end, far from the passage of holidaymakers. The shops are nearby.
At the gates, we travel by bike, the village is forbidden to cars during the season. A very nice market takes place every day in summer. Several different type of restaurants and affordable. The climate is very mild. It is the only village of the Ile de Ré which has several very different sandy beaches: a large 'Atlantic' beach of 5 km long, several beaches along the 'Fier d'Ars' will welcome you if you want to be more calm. Possibility of fishing at the bar, shrimp and crabs.
