Our holiday villa is located in a quiet and residential district, the Vallon des Graviers Sud, 250 m away from the sea. The street ends in a cul-de-sac at the Plage de l'Anglaise beach, on a pedestrian coastal path. This villa, 'club villa' type, is part of a range of semi-detached house, on a hillside, with each its private garden. The 250 sq.m restanque (raised level) garden, is Mediterranean, with palm tree, yucca, orange tree, olive tree, laurel, strawberry tree, surrounded by semi-detached gardens. There are no roads around this peaceful garden, fully enclosed. Besides the main terrace, a small terrace below, in the garden, allows to find some shade, some sun, to read or to take a nap. The villa is about 75sq.m, with à living room/dining room, a separate kitchen, 2 separate WC, one on the ground floor, the other one upstairs, 3 nice bedrooms upstairs, lots of storage space, one bathroom with bathtub and shower with shower screen.

When leaving the villa, you get to the pedestrian coastal path in 3 min by foot, at the Plage de l'Anglaise beach (Calanque, rocks and pebble) then line the sea shore, along beautiful villas, and pass in front of small beaches in the calanques of Bandol (3 to 4 min by foot between these beaches), the Capelan beach (pebble), with restaurant, the Bandol tennis club, then the Barry beach, the Eden Roc beach, and finally, the magnificent sandy beach of Renecros, to which you get in 20 min by foot from the villa. From this beach, a way gets directly to the harbour of Bandol, the centre and the market in 10 min. When coming back, with you purchases, there are free shuttles bringing you at the front of the house, through the line 3, stop at the Athena harbour or by the small tourist train of Bandol, which is also free of charge. From the villa, a small shopping centre and a pharmacy are located 750 m away by foot. A stay without a car is therefore possible. The pedestrian path in the other direction leads you in 15 min to the nice pebble beach of Les Engraviers, in front of the nearby Rousse island, famous for its diving spots. For hiker, by continuing the pedestrian coastal path, in the middle of nature, in the garrigue, along the coast, you line wild coves for kilometres, without any house, you get in 30 min to the magnificent calanques with beaches, including the Galere and its famous emerged rock in the shap of a submarine, then the Arlon calanque, about 1 hour away in the middle of nature, the Les Lecques, la Madrague, coming back by bus is possible!

The tennis club of Bandol is a few min walk by the coastal path. The famous golf course of la Frégate is only 6 km away. In the hinterlands, the medieval villages of Cadiere d'Azur, of the Castellet, the small fishing harbour of Sanary, the Provencal village of Saint-Cyr will delight you. Do not forget the visit of the vineyard and cellars of Bandol, a very famous wine. Some large shopping centres are located in Toulon, very near. The old town of Toulon is worth a visit, Marseille is 45 km away. Its airport, Marignane, 70 km away from the house, has low cost airlines, connection with the Marseille train station by a shuttle bus, and then the Marseille-Toulon train, the Bandol stop.
