Saint-Chaffrey is a French commune in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. The main departure point for the Serre Chevalier Vallée winter sports resort is located in the commune. It is one of five communes forming the suburbs of the Briançon urban area. A quiet, mountain-style town, it offers a wide range of activities in both winter and summer, and will delight hiking and skiing enthusiasts alike.
