Cottage

A charming traditional Breton cottage set in pretty, undulating countryside close to the lovely bay of Douarnenez on the Crozon peninsular in Finistere, with its fine, sandy beaches. Situated some 200 meters from the owners’organicfarmhouse, this detached cottage has its own private garden (approx.300 M2) which overlooks the ocean at the West and a rural landscape with a tiny chapel (Saint Suliau) – used once a year, usually the last Sunday of June, for pilgrimages – at the South and the wooded hillside beyond. The interior offers comfortable accommodation of a good standard, with character added by good use of wood throughout in traditional rustic-style. A lovely little cottage in a peaceful rural setting, close to some of the most spectacular scenery in Brittany ; the Crozon peninsula, Locronan, and Douarnenez Bay.

Ideal for a family (4-5 people) as the beach is very suitable for children and even at high tide still very wide. Not far from the long sandy beach Pentrez (3 km), perfect for young children. There are a number of watersports available including a surfing, a kite surfing school and sand-sailing as well as the more common past times of surfing, bodyboarding and rock pools.
