Apartment

As you discover the capital of the Gauls, come without further delay to stay at “Jarente”, a 50 square meter apartment, located in Ainay in the 2nd arrondissement, right in the heart of Lyon's peninsula, south of Place Bellecour and north of Lyon Perrache train station. On the 6ᵉ and top floor, you'll find an elevator taking you up to the 5th floor. The top floor is only accessible via the staircase. The apartment is located under the roofs of a beautiful 1900s building. Ideal for exploring the city or for a business trip.

The apartment is composed as follows:
- A first door leads you into an airlock, then a second door opens onto an atypical rooftop apartment.
- Two doors make up the entrance (a closet) and another laundry area with the washer/dryer.
- Then, on the left, a bedroom with a 140*190 bed, numerous wall cupboards and a velux window.
- A bathroom with shower, large washbasin and WC.
- The lounge/kitchen area features 2 velux windows and a window overlooking our beautiful Fourvière basilica. This space also includes a sofa/sofa, TV, high-speed wifi, a round table for 4 and a fully equipped kitchen, with all the necessary utensils (a Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, oven, 3-burner hob, microwave ...).

The neighborhood:
- The district's main monument is the Romanesque basilica of Saint-Martin d'Ainay. It is also home to the Musée des Tissus et des Arts Décoratifs de Lyon, and its main thoroughfare is the pedestrian Rue Victor-Hugo (shopping street). Most of the buildings in this bourgeois district were constructed during the Restoration period.
- Just a stone's throw from the banks of the Saône, it's an ideal base for visiting the St. Georges, St. Jean and St. Paul districts.
- Numerous art and antique galleries.
- Numerous local shops, where Lyon and French gastronomy are well showcased: bakery, butcher, cheesemonger, delicatessen... restaurants (including L'école Vatel), coffee shops, tea rooms ....

Transport :
- Metro line A: Ampère Victor Hugo stop
- Metro line D: Bellecour and numerous bus lines: C9,C20,C12, C10,40....
- Nearest train station on foot in 5 minutes or one metro station with line A. Gare de Lyon Perrache.
- Saint-Exupéry airport in 30 minutes with the Rhône express from Part-Dieu station.
- Tramway to Perrache station, line T1 and T2 (to Confluence).
