Chalet
About This Property
Gruissan is a world apart...worth a visit.
15 km from Narbonne, a Gallo-Roman town by the sea, my cottage is an old fisherman's hut on stilts. The 2nd floor is made entirely of wood.
Upstairs is a huge terrace with a dining area. Inside, a bright living room extends from an open kitchen, two small bedrooms (140 cm beds) and a separate toilet with washbasin. On the first floor, you'll find another bedroom (140 cm bed) and the hot-water shower (rudimentary). No central heating, just a fan heater.
The living areas are bright and pleasant. All the walls are made of wood, just like in the old days.
This is an atypical dwelling. If you're looking for comfort and sophistication, this is not the place for you. It's still in the cabane spirit, but a big cabane nonetheless! When it rains, Gruissan isn't very pleasant.
On the plage des chalets, look for islet 5, avenue des Eiders, my chalet is number 12 called "Lucky", just behind the chalet called "Coup de Vent".
There's a key box to let you in.
You can park at the foot of the chalet.
Rental of the entire chalet.
Sheets, towels and tea towels can be rented for 5 euros per person. And 25 euros for cleaning costs to be left in an envelope. thank you.
You'll find soap in the bathroom and salt, oil and coffee in the kitchen.
