About This Property
In Arcachon's quiet and unspoilt Abatilles district, you can set down your bags for a dream holiday with family or friends at Villa Comète, right in the heart of the pine forest, with its spacious, sunny terrace overlooking the heated swimming pool (May to end of September), and set off to conquer all the wonders of the Bassin!
With a surface area of 140 m², the house can comfortably accommodate 8 people.
Designed over 3 levels, including 1 fully-equipped summer kitchen at pool level, each floor has been carefully thought out to ensure that everyone finds peace and quiet and makes the most of their vacation!
Here's how Villa Comète is laid out:
Ground floor
- Swimming pool with terrace, fully-equipped summer kitchen - everything you need to avoid going upstairs to the kitchen!
- One bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite shower room, shower, vanity unit, towel dryer and WC.
1st floor - living area
- A large 38 m² living room with lounge area, sofa, armchair and TV (please note that the fireplace cannot be used).
- Dining area with open kitchen featuring a large work surface, plenty of storage space and all necessary utensils. Separate cooking area with hob, oven and fridge.
- Back kitchen with storage space, kettle, Nespresso, toaster, etc.
- Separate WC on the landing
2nd floor - sleeping area
- One bedroom with queen-size bed opening onto a balcony with table and chair.
- One bedroom with 2 single beds (games, books, small table)
- One bedroom with double bed
- Bathroom with bath and shower screen, towel dryer, WC
- A small office area on the landing
Outside:
You can sunbathe on the deckchairs and relax in the pool and enjoy the small shady garden to the side of the house with garden furniture.
Large dining table with electric awning, large Weber barbecue.
The pool measures 6mx4m and features a counter-current system for swimming to your heart's content. It is protected by an electric curtain. Heated, you can swim from May to the end of September.
The summer kitchen has been totally designed so that you can enjoy everything at pool level. It features a cooking island open onto the bay window, plenty of storage space, oven, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso, sink, crockery.
Activities :
Ideally located, you'll enjoy all the city has to offer. Discover the spectacular Ville d'Hiver district, with its superb turn-of-the-century houses, park and belvedere offering a breathtaking view of the Bassin!
Treat yourself to an oyster tasting at one of the Bassin's oyster ports, such as La Teste, Gujan or the Arcachon market.
If you feel like taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty to Cap Ferret, Ile aux oiseaux and the famous cabanes tchanquées!
Take a trip down the Leyre to the Le Teich ornithological park, where you can choose to be accompanied by a guide, or take your kayak out on its own - the ride is sublime!
Nearby:
- La Teste's typical market on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday... Les Halles, but also many outdoor market gardeners, organic produce, Pyrenean cheese, confits, foie gras, shoes, clothes etc., the atmosphere is guaranteed!

- Beach 1.8 km by road, less than 10 minutes by bike or 15 minutes on foot through the pine forest
- A public playground and basketball court are a 3-minute walk from the house in the pine forest
