Come and breathe a breath of fresh air in this unique place! More than a stay, it's an experience that we want you to share and discover.
This chalet is unique due to its location between Méribel and Méribel-Mottaret, at the foot of the trout track. A magical atmosphere awaits you in the middle of the mountains. If you like calm and nature you will be delighted! This quiet location means that you are not in the immediate vicinity of the shops and snow tires are required to access the chalet (it may seem obvious, but we prefer to remind you: you are coming to ski, we are in the mountains and it is there is snow!). More details on the location, access by car, skis, shuttle and pedestrian below in the "The neighborhood" section.

## Interaction
The owners, Bénédicte and her husband live on site year-round. During the winter when the chalet (the upper part) is rented, they live in an apartment on the ground floor. They are available to welcome you and advise you! He is a ski patroller in Méribel, and she is a Shepherdess (do not hesitate to buy lamb, cheeses and other exceptional local products from them!)


## Neighborhood

La Rosière, between Méribel and Mottaret is a small isolated and quiet village. It is an exclusively residential area, there is no commerce.
You can get there on foot, by car, by shuttle or on skis!
*On foot, it takes between 10 and 20 minutes to reach Meribel Center depending on your pace.
*By car, access requires snow tires or chains. The last twenty meters are quite steep. You can park along the main road (then you have to walk a hundred meters). At the level of the sheepfold (at the foot of the fairly steep 20-meter climb), there are then about fifty meters to walk. Or in front of the chalet if you have the special equipment.
*The resort's free shuttle passes through La Rosière. It takes you either to Méribel Center or to Mottaret. The bus stop is on the upper part of the hamlet. It takes a 5min walk uphill to get there. On the way back, it will be downhill to access the chalet!
*On skis, access is from Mottaret. You have to take the footpath and this requires being comfortable on skis (not recommended for beginners). From the chalet, take the footpath for about 200m before joining the Trout track (again, not recommended for beginners).

## Transit
Parking available in front of the chalet (snow tires or special equipment required, see section "the neighborhood")
Free shuttle stop 5 minutes walk away which takes you directly to the resort centre. The bus stop is on the upper part of La Rosière. Plan to walk 5min uphill to get there. On the way back, it will be downhill!
