The downtown district is a very lively and lively district during the day: a covered & outdoor market every day in summer, 3 downtown supermarkets, beautiful shops, many restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors.... but also a railway station; many buses (linking the ocean beaches, among others), sea buses (to Moulleau), maritime shuttles (Arcachon - Ferret crossing, excursions to Île aux Oiseaux, Banc d'Arguin...), the little tourist train from the Ville d'Hiver (historic district of Arcachon), numerous cycle paths all around the Basin and up to the Ocean, and above all the most beautiful fine sandy beaches in the region!

To go out in the evening, you can enjoy the restaurants in the city center and an ice cream on the seafront promenade, for the more festive, you will have to go to the heart of Moulleau, a lively district of Arcachon.
