Hôpital-Saint-Louis is a developing area known for Canal Saint-Martin, a former industrial waterway lined with residences, hip eateries and bars, and repurposed warehouses. Part of a Chinese Quarter, the streets by Belleville station are home to pan-Asian restaurants, while Rue de la Grange aux Belles is a hot spot for bistros and bakeries. Built in the 1600s, the area’s namesake hospital features a period chapel.
Next door is the adjacent Belville neighborhood, an edgy neighborhood hosting a monthly street food market that sprawls along Boulevard de Belleville with outdoor tables. Part of the area is a Chinese quarter, with grocery stores and no-frills restaurants, as well as a new wave of contemporary galleries and street art. Rue Sainte-Marthe is a quiet street lined with art studios and global eateries, while hilly Parc de Belleville offers city views.
Belleville Metro Station is less than one minute away by foot and is connected to lines 2 and 11.
In the other direction, Colonel Fabien Metro Station is just 10 minutes away by foot and is connected to line 2.
Additionally, walk over Canal Saint-Martin and turn towards Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, and you'll reach Gare de l'Est. From there, you can access Metro lines: 4, 5 and 7.
From my apartment to Paris Charles de Gaulle, it'll take 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic conditions.
Services such as UBER, Gett, G7 and LeCab are available to download and use in Paris.
This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (2 PM).
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €300 smoking fee at a minimum.
