In the middle of the beautiful hills of the Provence, surrounded by olive trees, medieval villages and (rosé) vineyards lies the charming villa “St Maur” of which the oldest part (a chapel ) is over 300 years old.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen, a large open plan living room with fire place and dining area. In the main house there are 2 large double bedrooms (one with an extra children’s bed) and a bathroom with shower and bath. The adjacent guest house (Maison d’Amis) is connected to the main house by a covered terrace and has 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. There is also a utility room with a separate toilet and a washing machine. All the rooms have a fans.

The house is situated in a 10.000m2 private garden, laid out over different levels which gives the house its unique character. Stone steps lead down to the gorgeous private swimming pool with sunbeds and an extra fridge.

If you follow the ancient church path behind the house, it is a 14 minute walk to the picturesque village of Bargemon. The village has bakeries, a small supermarket, a great butcher, a pharmacy and several restaurants. The village square is a great place to have a coffee with a croissant and watch the village life go by.

You are in the middle of rosé country, with the valley of the Whispering Angel less than 20 minutes away. There are lots of markets, brocantes and excellent restaurants in Clavier, Seillans and Fayence. There is canoeing down the Gorges du Verdon or kayaking and pedalo on the Lac de Saint-Cassien and excellent golf (and lunch) at Golf de Saint Endreol within 30 mins drive. And if you want to go to the beach, St Maxime is about 45mins drive.

If you are flying in - Nice Airport is about 1hour 15 mins.
