he kitchenette is fitted and equipped with : 2-burner ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, filter coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and ironing board; a pleasant dining area with wall-mounted TV; a first bedroom with 1 double bed and access to the terrace, a second bedroom with 3 single beds and 1 large dressing room; a shower room with walk-in shower; and a separate WC.

You will also have: a free private parking space, a washing machine, a barbecue, a fan, a cot, a clothes rack, clothes hangers, storage space for clothes, crockery and cutlery.
There is also a sofa bed in the main room for extra sleeping space.

You will be staying 10 minutes' drive from: the town centre, where you will find everything you could possibly need; and the Port, where you will find a variety of restaurants and where you can go boating.

There are plenty of things to do in Porto-Vecchio, including:
- Visit the historic centre (the old town) and discover: Place de la République (17 minutes by car), L'Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste (17 minutes), La porte génoise (15 minutes), and Bastion de France (18 minutes).
- Go to the beach: Rondinara (28 minutes by car); Palombaggia (18 minutes), where you can take part in a range of water sports including kayaking, water-skiing, paddle-boarding and jet-skiing; and Tamaricciu (18 minutes).
- Take a cruise and discover the Lavezzi islands and their sublime coves.
- Go sea kayaking or windsurfing at Pinarellu (34 minutes by car).

My villa is close to a variety of bars and restaurants, and for your daily shopping, there's a Mini Market just 8 minutes away by car.

## Emplacement
The citadel of Porto Vecchio was born in 1539, under the impulse of the senators of Genoa. The region was then known to be a pirate's hideout. From 1540 to 1589, the citadel was destroyed three times and then rebuilt. The Republic of Genoa finally ceded the island to France in 1768. The marina and commercial port below the ramparts is particularly popular in high season. You will find bars, ice cream parlors and restaurants, and you can take nice walks.
