Old forge ideally located in the city center at the foot of the Château de Jonzac. Completely restored and transformed into a bright space open to the city and the gardens, it combines the advantages of a town center house with the tranquility of a property in the countryside.
The ground floor organized in open plan accommodates the kitchen, the dining room and the living room. It is a space bathed in light thanks to a large bay window, with windows opening onto the castle and the gardens and three French windows opening onto a furnished terrace which overlooks and leads to the garden. An office accommodates the refrigerator, the washing machine, a cupboard and all the material intended for the household.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: the master bedroom with a bathroom (a basin and a shower), beautiful exposed beams and beautiful openings on the castle and the garden; and the second bedroom converted into a dormitory with single beds but also a double bed. A bathroom and separate toilet complete this floor.
The garden, which is accessed from the terrace, is a haven of peace. Reunion of two gardens which descend towards the Seugne, its beautiful stone walls give it a lot of elegance and are a testimony to the antiquity of these gardens. You can enjoy the sunshine all day long.
