Sanary-sur-Mer, 13 km from Toulon and 49 km from Marseille, with its authentic Mediterranean fishing port, pedestrian streets lined with small shops, good restaurants and pretty fountain-refreshed squares, is a renowned tourist town, both relaxing and lively, where you'll be sure to have a good holiday whatever the season!
It offers a huge variety of colorful landscapes and natural sandy beaches (Portissol, Golden Beach, La Gorguette, Bonnegrâce, Beaucours...) in a sunny setting most of the year. There are many activities at your disposal: sailing, scuba diving, tennis, climbing, hiking, fishing, cinema, gambling casino... not to mention the inevitable sea and sun baths!
The city, whose market was voted "the most beautiful market in France" in 2018, offers you the best of local produce as well as fresh fish from fishermen and fresh flowers every morning on the harbour. In the summer you can also enjoy a night market, offering handicrafts.
