Cottage

Located in the hamlet of Etival, in a Natura 2000 area and nestled against the La Grande Charnie forest, our gîte was fully restored in 2019. This very old house, once part of an abbey, comprises two levels with a living area of 120 m². Beds will be made upon your arrival, and you will have:
- On the ground floor: a large living room with a kitchen, dining area, and lounge, and a bedroom (twin 80 cm beds) with a private bathroom and separate toilet.
- Upstairs: a master bedroom (twin 80 cm beds, a child's bed, and a private bathroom), and another bedroom with four 90 cm beds, two of which can be joined together. Between these two bedrooms, a large mezzanine has been converted into a recreation room (reading, games, TV) with two additional beds. A separate bathroom and separate toilet. The entrances and ground floor are designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. The south facade opens onto a terrace and enclosed, wooded grounds.
We can accommodate riders and their mounts (meadow in front of the gîte), as well as cyclists (local, electric bike charging).
You can enjoy the tranquility of this historic setting [hidden] , take pleasant walks around the gîte, or head out into the forest for long hikes (maps with recommended walking and cycling routes).
Discover the beautiful surrounding villages of Sainte Suzanne, Brulon, Asnières-sur-Vègre, or the prehistoric caves of Saulges. Visit Vieux-Mans, the circuit, and the 24-hour museum. Spend a day in Sillé-le-Guillaume for relaxing or more sporty activities. Amenities: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, etc.
