The little port of Vallon des Auffes is a typical neighborhood, with its small fishing boats, its “pointus” (Marseille's typical rowboats) and its colorful little houses that add a touch of the picturesque and the authentic. This living postcard is located very close to the Plage des Catalans and the Port de Malmousque, as well as the Vieux Port (10-minute walk). Le Vallon is home to many fine restaurants, including Chez Jeannot and Chez Fonfon.
