Private vacation home

Superb cabin built in the spirit of those oyster farmers in the Bassin d'Arcachon. Entirely in wood, this hut "tchanquée" (on stilts) overhangs the coastal path and offers a panoramic view on the basin. Its elevated layout earned it the name of "the Hune" which designates an observation platform installed at the top of the mast of the ships.

The house has 3 terraces, a garden of 500m2 and a salt pool, heated. The whole is entirely privative.

Housing

The house is located along the coastal path, in a wild site populated by migratory birds. Real haven of peace, it is a place in osmosis with the nature to withdraw from the world the time of a weekend or holidays.

The house is built on stilts which allows it to have a view in the distance.
With a surface of 80m2, it is distributed on 2 levels.

It has:
- 2 bedrooms with double bed and sea view
- 1 bedroom with two single beds and garden view
- 1 bathroom with bathtub
- 1 bathroom with walk-in shower
- 2 separate toilets

The living room, the dining room and the kitchen communicate in a crossing space with a view of the sea. The space is extended by 2 terraces, one of which, "solarium", is facing south.

POOL WITH SALT, HEATED

At the foot of the house, the pool is completely surrounded by a wooden deck. The pool is salt-treated, allowing you to rediscover the pleasure of swimming in non-irritating water for the skin and eyes. It is heated so that its temperature is pleasant as soon as it enters the water.
The pool is passable without interruption from April to September.

A HOME RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

Located in a particularly wild site, the house is in harmony with the surrounding nature.

It is built entirely of wood and enjoys natural ventilation thanks to its north-south orientation. This avoids air conditioning in the summer and recovering heat gains from the sun in winter.
The house also benefits from high performance insulation to ensure comfort in all rooms. Its heating can be provided by means of a wood stove.
The house is equipped with solar panels to heat the water. This system requires, in fact, to be more attentive to the consumption of water during the winter or the least sunny months.
Finally, watering the garden is done through the water drawn from the natural terrain.

MACHINE

Linen is included in the rental price up to 6 people (bed linen and towels).
Bath towels are available for 8 euros per person.
