About This Property
The location of this typical Rochelle house is exceptional: a few steps from the beach and the seafront, the old port, rue St Jean and its restaurants, the casino. On the edge of the park, in a quiet area of beautiful mansions, 200 m. from the promenade du Mail.
Park your car for free in the rue Jeanne d´Albret and forget about it. Everything is done on foot: beach, walks by the sea, shopping at the market, city tours, restaurants and bars. If you prefer, you can also go by bike, these are easy to store in the private alley bordering the house: beautiful walks from the casino along the cliffs to the beach of Chef de baie or that of Les Minimes (15 minutes), oyster villages or towards the Ile de Ré (10 minutes by car, 30 minutes by bike, easy trails).
The immediate environment is privileged: street classified as historic monuments, beautiful residences in the surroundings, very popular district, access to parks in 1 min (mini-zoo, playgrounds, rides, mini-golf), pedestrian downtown accessible by 10 mins on foot or a few minutes by bike.
The house was completely renovated in 2017 by an architect and a landscaper. The traditional charm has been preserved, but a refined and contemporary decoration brings it comfort and refinement.
Everything is new, furniture, bedding, appliances, dishes.
The landscaped garden, a real green setting in any season, with its olive tree, cypress and flower beds is not overlooked; the heated swimming pool, the garden furniture and the dining area create a unique holiday atmosphere compared to the situation of the house.
Cleaning is included as well as sheets, towels and kitchen linen. A TV space is available in the attic room, with a large corner sofa for movie nights.
