Como old town is in a pedestrian area; car is not necessary; any place is easily reachable by foot: the lake, the ferries, railway station, shops, restaurants and all the beautiful churches and historical villas to be visited.
There are at 100meters from home some payant park car. It's possible to use a special agreement with a parking at 500 meters walking, that give a ticket for 20€ available for 24hours.
Principal railway stations can be reached walking: Como San Giovanni is about 1km, Como Nord Lago at 500 meters.
Ferries boats departures is at 300 meters walking from home.
