The historic center of Porto, a mysterious and charming city, is accessible by car, bus or train. You will be able to discover the old facades of the city, its historical and cultural gems as well as its many bridges which span the Douro. You will not be able to leave without having visited the cellars of the port (and perhaps the vines upstream of the Douro!), this well-known wine exported throughout Europe for centuries.
Golfers can indulge their passion at the 9-hole Miramar Golf, located by the sea 2 km from the house, at Oporto Golf Club, 18-hole located south of Espinho 12 km, at Quinta da Bica Academia do 9-hole golf course in Porto, 18-hole Amarante golf course. The Miramar golf course makes its swimming pool available to golfers and their companions.
Nearby, Guimaraes, Braga and Barcelos to the north, Aveiro, Batalha, Coimbra, Fatima and Nazaré to the south are worth a visit.
