For hiking around your rental, Montfaucon is crossed by the GR46 which is one of the countless secondary routes to St Jacques de Compostelle (Figeac, detour by Rocamadour then descent by Montfaucon and Labastide-Murat to reach the banks of the Lot and reach Cahors)

For your walks, most of the essential sites in the region are located less than 50 km from your tourist rental (Rocamadour, Padirac, St Cirq Lapopie, Cahors, Figeac and Sarlat to name a few).
