The water castle Klaffenbach with golf course is in visible distance. Other interesting destinations such as various museums, theaters, park railway u. Schloßteich in the city center Chemnitz, the castles Lichtenwalde u. Augustusburg and the Sachsenring u. several shopping centers as well as amusement parks u. Baths are within a few minutes.
At the gates of Chemnitz, the Erzgebirge with its diverse sights and sports facilities stretches in every season. A special attraction in summer and winter is the excursion to Oberwiesenthal with its numerous ski slopes and mountains, which you can reach with an extraordinary cable car.
In less than an hour you can visit the famous cultural city of Dresden with its unique Frauenkirche
and visit the kennel and numerous museums.
Also recommended is the about 80 km away Leipzig Zoo, with its diverse wildlife
in which you can visit the unique jungle park 'Gondwanaland'.
