Private vacation home
About This Property
The wide glass arches allow plenty of natural light to stream into the living area and kitchen, so that the bright, friendly colours are visible and look good. A cosy armchair in the entrance area invites you to linger. But you can also take a seat in the living room on the huge récamière sofa or two brown armchairs and immerse yourself in adventurous worlds in front of the flat-screen TV or read travel guides and plan your upcoming holiday by the open fire. Ideally, someone else will start cooking in the meantime, so that at some point you hear the eagerly awaited call: Dinner is ready. You can then gather in the chic dining room, take a seat at the long table under the tropical-style lamp and start a sociable evening. Both bedrooms are located on the upper floor, which you can reach via the specially lit staircase. One has a stylish wooden bed and direct access to the roof terrace, from where the view extends even further. We were particularly impressed by the compact architecture and furnishings of the house and we are confident that you will have an all-round relaxing and successful holiday if you choose this property.
In addition, the location on the island is very attractive. The villa is well connected to the island's road network, although the country road can occasionally be heard depending on the wind direction. You can quickly reach the chic town of Manacor, which is only 8 kilometres away. The name of the second largest town on the island means hand on heart; and the special charm of the town can really touch people. In addition to the pearls, the town is also famous for its exquisite pottery, delicious wines and much more. You are sure to find a suitable souvenir here. A fruit and vegetable market is held daily (except Sundays) in Placa Constitucio. The nearby village of Son Macia is also worth a visit. You should also sample the harbour atmosphere of Porto Christo and try out the maritime amusements in Porto Colom (both approx. 19 km away). For beach days, we recommend Cala Varques, 17 km away, with its fine sand and pleasantly shallow access to the sea.
The natural stone villa Son Artigues is surrounded by greenery, but is only 5 km from the beautiful town of Son Macia. There you can do all your shopping and watch the hustle and bustle of the town from a café. For a shopping spree, it is also worth visiting Manacor, 8 kilometres away, which is known for its enchantingly beautiful pearls. Fantastic natural beaches such as Cala Varques are only 17 km away.
