This villa makes you want to climb up onto the roof (or at least onto the large kitchen terrace) all the time and never come down again. As the mountains are close enough to touch, they seem to tower impressively almost directly behind the house, making you feel like all you have to do is jump over the low wall, run through the forest and you're there. Rural, absolutely quiet and family-friendly, the slightly lower-lying house with garden and pool is ideal for four adults and two children. The steps leading down from the small covered terrace in front of the house can be secured by a small wooden gate, so that access for the little ones is at least made more difficult. You have your own tree to climb and swing in and a large gravelled area to play on; all you need is some homemade lemonade for complete bliss. So what do you need for a real holiday feeling? Perhaps this: depending on the position of the sun, you can set up your deckchair around the swimming pool set in natural stone or seek refuge under shady trees. One style, one level: the interior of the villa is surprising in that you wouldn't necessarily expect such a modern style behind these walls. The living room is crystal clear. White and silver-grey tones make everything shine brightly and look new. The transparent chairs provide additional transparency and lightness and the flat-screen TV and fireplace almost look like artfully placed accents. However, the furnishings are anything but cool and sterile, with warm wood tones creating an attractive contrast. The only thing to be careful of is the unsecured staircase leading from the living room to the basement. The same stylistic elements continue in the spacious kitchen, which is equipped to a high standard Lightness and transparency are the top priority. From here you have direct access to a large terrace with such a fantastic panorama that eating becomes almost a minor matter. Two comfortable double bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite, one with a bathtub) as well as a single bedroom with an additional sofa bed for two children round off the family-friendly comfort zone. The charming little town of Artá, which is surrounded by lush gardens and is the starting point for the barely developed north of the island, shows the authentic Mallorca from its most radiant side and its romantic side in the evening, when all the alleyways are lit up. Houses, shops, cafés and restaurants in narrow streets (romantically illuminated in the evening) crowd around a fortified mountain fortress. Enjoy the 25 km long view of the unspoilt coastline and countless bays that await you from the San Salvador pilgrimage church. Travelling by car along the sea, you will come across attractions that are also exciting for adventurous children: the caves of Artà, the Torre de Canyamel, the Far de Capdepera lighthouse at the easternmost point of Mallorca and the imposing Castell de Capdepera fortress are just a few of them.



Secluded location with wonderful views and absolute tranquillity: This modern, family-friendly holiday villa Na Pedas is located approx. 2 km from the edge of the pretty town of Artà. The weekly market, shopping facilities, charming cafés and restaurants are almost on your doorstep. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere, head towards Cala Ratjada, where many families holiday in summer; the beautiful natural beach of Cala Agulla can be reached in 15 minutes directly via the Ma-15. The wide sandy beach of Cala Torta is also only 10 km away.
