Private vacation home
About This Property
Upon entering the house, you will realise that the owners have put a lot of effort and attention to detail into creating an exceptionally welcoming environment. The fusion of modern aesthetic design with genuine traditional elements gives the rooms an ambience full of charm and style. The authentic character of the place is emphasised by sandstone walls and unique antiques that make it a real eye-catcher. And the entire interior is characterised by a beautiful balance between decorative floor tiles and classic exposed ceiling beams. The entrance door leads into the ground-floor dining room, should you wish to dine inside. And on cooler evenings, you can light the fireplace to make it even cosier. To the right is a cosy bedroom and a spacious bathroom, which is attractively and colourfully designed - the shower even uses solar-heated water. To the left is the kitchen, which is equipped with high-quality appliances for your convenience, including a kettle and filter coffee machine. This is a great place to try out some traditional Spanish recipes while on holiday and perhaps serve them to the rest of the group to enjoy. The upper floor is essentially one large room, divided into different spaces by the clever placement of a built-in wardrobe. The cosy, air-conditioned living room is the place to relax after a long day's holiday. If you like, you can watch a good film on TV or DVD. The bedrooms upstairs, one single and one double, each have their own distinctive style, but both are perfect for a good night's sleep. The double bedroom opens directly onto the spacious roof terrace, which offers wonderful views in all directions. Original pieces of furniture made from shipping pallets are the perfect place to sit outside in the evening and enjoy a nice glass of wine. The single room is colourfully decorated and is sure to be the room that younger holidaymakers will want to stay in.
You can buy groceries and other necessities in Santa Margalida, where there are numerous supermarkets, patisseries and restaurants. Particularly recommended is the breakfast bar El Sol on the beach of Son Serra de Marina (approx. 15 km); enjoy a stylish brunch with a view of the beach and the water, and on Sundays there is even live music. Can Picafort still has the flair of a coastal village, where you can take a long walk along the promenade along the light-coloured sandy beach that stretches all the way north to Port d'Alcúdia. Bars, restaurants, boutiques and even discos make for a holiday you will never forget. The authentic Mallorcan villa Sa Vinyasa Des Compte is tucked away on a 28,000 m² plot, just 2 km south of the small town of Santa Margalida in the north of the island. The peaceful location is ideal for nature lovers. Sineu is a 15-minute drive away and the beautiful town of Inca can be reached in around 25 minutes. The coastal town of Can Picafort is just 11 km away. Go there to enjoy the sea and shop for groceries and other daily necessities.
