Centrally located in the town centre, above the Bohlweg, is this typical Harz patrician house, built around 1870.
From here, you can reach restaurants and inns without having to climb altitude. It is slightly higher and sunny on the slope of the Gallingsberg, not directly on the main road, but on a small square. This is where the hiking trail to the Magdalena church begins and where many hiking trails start. Wildemann, surrounded by nature, in the heart of the Oberharz World Heritage Region. In summer, you can hike, mountain bike, swim in the pool or enjoy a terrace. In winter, you can go hiking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and tobogganing, take boat trips on the ochre lake, go to the Mining Museum, the 19-Lachterstollen Tunnel, the thermal baths or take the steam train to the Brocken...
