The distinctive house "Zur Alten Dame" welcomes you by the village fountain in the small Markgräfler village of Lipburg near Badenweiler. Inside, across three light-filled floors, you'll find a mix of antique and modern furnishings, an open kitchen with garden access, a cozy tiled stove, and a long dining table. The house accommodates up to 8 guests in comfort (3 WCs, 2 bathrooms, 1 balcony, Wi-Fi, TV, sound system, reading corner, games, washer-dryer). Oak floors, clay plaster, and natural ceilings, along with eco-friendly electrical installation, ensure a pleasant indoor climate.



In winter, relax by the warm tiled stove after a long outing; in summer, the large village garden offers extra relaxation—enjoy barbecues, badminton, bocce, or unwind on sun loungers under shady trees. On arrival, you'll receive a bottle of local wine and a jar of honey.



Hiking trails start right from the house, leading to vineyards, orchards, Hochblauen mountain, Badenweiler, and surrounding wine villages. For short trips, you can rent a Vespa LX 125 (subject to availability and use for an extra fee). Within walking distance, you can buy regional products such as fruit, walnuts, honey, fresh wood-fired bread (Fridays), and Black Forest cherry brandy.



The spa town of Badenweiler offers a wide range of wellness and tourism options. You can quickly reach the Black Forest, neighboring Alsace, and Switzerland, with cultural highlights like Freiburg, Basel, Colmar, and Strasbourg. Renowned museums, fairs, galleries, and beautiful old towns with shops await you. A well-stocked supermarket with regional products is 2 km away.
