The holiday apartment Ferienwohnung Schwalbennest is located in Mühlenbach and overlooks the mountain. The 60 m² property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a TV as well as children's books and toys. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. This vacation rental features a private balcony for your evening relaxation.

Idyllically situated in a quiet side valley, we invite you to spend relaxing, unforgettable days in a family environment in the middle of the Black Forest.



Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can enjoy the fresh country air, discover the rhythm of nature and at the same time experience the day-to-day work on the farm at first hand.



The Geigerbauernhof is a classic Black Forest farm, it has been family-owned for centuries and is run as a full-time farm with a focus on livestock farming, forestry, schnapps distillery and our two vacation apartments.



We currently have 25 dairy cows and their offspring (approx. 20 animals) which are milked in the mornings and evenings. There is plenty of opportunity for our younger guests to get a taste of the cowshed, help with feeding or watering the calves.



From April to November (weather permitting) the cows are turned out to pasture every day. We currently have four breeding sows and a boar so that there are little piglets to marvel at at regular intervals.



Around 32 hectares of forest belong to the Geigerbauernhof. This consists mainly of spruce, silver fir, Douglas fir and deciduous forest. The felling and reforestation as well as stock maintenance only takes place in the winter months.



The schnapps, which we produce from wheat grain, is also distilled in winter. A small proportion of pears and apples are also distilled. We are happy to invite you to a schnapps tasting.
