The holiday apartment Appartment 26, which is situated in Masserberg, overlooks the nearby mountain. The 34 m² property consists of a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi as well as a TV. On top of that, a shared sauna is also provided for your enjoyment. A baby cot and a high chair are also available. This vacation rental features a private balcony for your evening relaxation.

The outstanding location in the midst of picturesque nature in the south of the Thuringian Forest and the extraordinary flair of the hotel have always made the Kurhaus one of the best hotels in Thuringia in its more than 100-year history.



Many former guests and visitors associate the Kurhaus, which was built in 1906, with fond memories of vacations in a very special ambience and a very special time in the midst of a family atmosphere and the wonderful landscape on the Rennsteig.



Even in the 1920s, the hotel was a well-known address throughout southern Thuringia and northern Bavaria thanks to its excellent cuisine and comfortable accommodation. As one of the few privately run houses and as a contract house of the Saxon Academy of Sciences, the Kurhaus Masserberg was also known far beyond the borders of Thuringia during the socialist era and was chosen by many returning guests as a regular vacation destination.



The history-steeped hotel has now been completely renovated, lovingly reconstructed according to original designs and reopened in 2018. The history of the Kurhaus, which goes back over a hundred years, is thus being continued.
