Apartment

Our young and modern furnished vacation apartment is located in a converted barn on a former half-timbered farm in Waldeck-Netze with a direct view of one of the seven bridges of the former railroad line and today's Ederseebahn cycle path. In the open kitchen you will find everything your cooking heart desires. The dining area is immediately adjoined by the living room with a comfortable sofa with pull-out function and TV. The master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, closet and a comfortable armchair for reading or relaxing. Another bedroom is waiting to be conquered with two high-quality single beds, a closet and a shelf with books and toys. From the bedroom with the two single beds, you can access an east-facing balcony. The east-facing balcony or the south-facing balcony can also be accessed from the living room. In the bathroom there is a toilet and urinal as well as a bathtub with an extra shower to refresh yourself after an eventful day or to relax with a bubble bath. If you are traveling with bicycles, you can store them in a lockable bicycle shed. E-bikes can be charged free of charge so that nothing stands in the way of exploring the area the next day.

Our vacation apartment is located in the middle of the North Hessian mountains. The nearby Edersee lake with its barrier wall invites you to relax. The Kellerwaldsteig and the Habichtswaldsteig are popular destinations for hikers. There is plenty to experience from Kassel to Korbach. From Waldeck Castle, Arolsen Residential Palace to Wilhelmstal Castle with the adjoining Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park, where Hercules is enthroned high above, up to Willingen with the Mühlenkopf ski jump and the Skywalk, there is plenty to discover. Through the spacious balcony, you can look directly onto the very popular Ederseebahn cycle path or experience it for yourself away from the traffic. Other sights such as the Weidelsburg or Kugelsburg castles and the Helfensteine on the high Dörnberg invite you to explore. The mine in Goldhausen or the slate mine in Willingen are well worth a visit. Two nearby outdoor pools (Naumburg and Freienhagen) invite you to cool off. But even in bad weather, various indoor pools are a popular destination. The Edersee, Sababurg and Willingen zoos are a welcome change for guests of all ages. If you want to get up high, the treetop walk TreeTopWalk directly on Lake Edersee is just the thing. The Twistesee lake, slate mine, Helfensteine (Dörnberg), via ferratas, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, the cathedral in Fritzlar or a museum tour with the Hessencourrier will not let you get bored.
