This lovely rural holiday home with a vast garden in Carinthia is about 500 meters from the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area. The house is also an excellent starting point for beautiful regional hiking routes. It is located at the tri-border point of Austria, Italy, and Slovenia. The holiday home is ideal for two families or a larger group, as it combines two separate flats, giving each family its own space. Parking is, of course, available in front of the door
Located at the top of the Carinthian Gailtal, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, Kötschach-Mauthen belongs to the tourist region of Nassfeld-Pressegger See and offers a small family ski area with 6 kilometers of slopes, as well as restaurants, shops, various hiking opportunities and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (water and wellness oasis Aquarena). Other ski resorts in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometers of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometers of slopes, and the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the eastern Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometers of slopes. In summer, the natural swimming pool Waldbad Mauthen or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offers lots of swimming fun!
