The Renchtal offers over 800 km of hiking trails and 500 km of mountain bike routes, ideal for nature and sports lovers. It is a popular destination for paragliders and a good starting point for excursions to Strasbourg, Baden-Baden or Europa-Park.



Haus Niedermättle is located in the sunny Lierbach valley on the edge of the forest, close to the Black Forest National Park and the Allerheiligen waterfalls. Lierbach is part of Oppenau, a climatic health resort in the Renchtal valley, just 2.5 km from Oppenau and 5 km from the waterfalls. There is a restaurant with a garden terrace and a natural water treading area nearby. The leisure bus to explore the national park is free for guests with the Konus guest card. The region, often referred to as the "Tuscany of Germany", is characterized by a mild climate and a charming landscape.
