The Domaine de Bellegarde is a stunning 19th-century stately home on a six-acre estate in Soustons, fully restored in 2002.



The 2.5-hectare estate, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and Lac d'Soustons, is perfect for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and swimming. The area is known for forests, vineyards, and world-renowned golf courses. The beach is a 10-minute drive, and the village is within walking distance.



The ground floor features a spacious lounge with wood paneling, parquet floors, and a grand oak staircase. There is a study, sitting room, dining room, billiard room, kitchen, toilet, and washroom, with terraces for alfresco dining. The TV/reading room has a marble fireplace, sofas, satellite TV, and a selection of DVDs, books, and magazines.



The first floor includes a hall with sofas, three large en-suite bedrooms (two with marble fireplaces), and a large suite with two bedrooms, a balcony, a fireplace, a dressing room, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, and a terrace. The second floor has four large en-suite bedrooms (one with a sauna), all with TVs and DVD players. Most double beds can be separated into singles, except in one bedroom. Bed linen and towels are provided.



The basement offers storage for mountain bikes (free for guests), a laundry, a garage, a workshop, a wine cellar, and additional storage rooms.



The estate features a private 15 x 7 meter outdoor swimming pool with a counter-current system and an electric security cover. There is also a pool heater, a 90m² terrace with sun loungers and teak furniture, and mature gardens with a BBQ area. A pool house includes a bar area, fridges, an ice-cream freezer, a toilet, and an outside shower.

Additional amenities include a summer kitchen, a cinema room, a jacuzzi, and a tennis court. A shuttle service to the airport is available on request.
