Explore the Heart of Florence: San Lorenzo and Beyond
The San Lorenzo district is famous for its vibrant open-air market, where you can find leather bags and jackets, open daily. In the same square, you’ll also find the Central Market, a true paradise for food lovers:
Ground floor: Open until 2:00 pm (closed on Sundays), offering fresh fruit, handmade pasta, butcher shops, fishmongers, bakeries, delicatessens, and an excellent restaurant.
Upper floor: Open daily until midnight, featuring bars, restaurants, pizzerias, gelaterias, and a traditional wine bar.
The neighborhood is also home to many other excellent restaurants and bars that we’ll be happy to recommend.
Partner Parking and Exclusive Tours
Partner Parking: Garage Michelangelo, just 4 minutes’ walk away, offers a special rate for our guests (€30 for 24 hours, ZTL access included).
Villa Costanza Parking: Located outside the city center (€7 for 24 hours), with a direct tram to the center (approx. 20 minutes).
Santa Maria Novella train station is only 11 minutes on foot, making it easy to reach destinations such as Piazzale Michelangelo, Fiesole, Siena, Pisa, and other charming Tuscan locations.
Don’t miss the opportunity to join a wine tour to the oldest winery in Tuscany, including a guided visit, wine tasting with local snacks, and a stop in the picturesque village of Greve in Chianti.
