Beautiful Villa Mulino is located in the greenery of Istria and offers a relaxed atmosphere. This restored villa used to be an old mill, and the authentic look of the stone house fits perfectly into this landscape.
In front of the villa, you can cool off in the pool or sip your favorite drink on deck chairs. In the peaceful atmosphere of the Istrian surroundings, you will be especially relaxed by the sound of the stream flowing through the property. On the covered terrace in front of the villa, you can enjoy dishes prepared on a stone barbecue in the garden.
Inside the villa, the look of authentic Istrian houses with stone walls and wooden ceilings has been preserved, and the living room with a fireplace is furnished accordingly. The living room also offers access to the terrace. A dining room extends from the living room, through which you enter a charming kitchen. This charming kitchen, decorated with pastel green tones in combination with wood and stone, will particularly delight you.
On the second floor there are two cozy bedrooms with double beds, while the remaining bedrooms with double beds are located on the second floor. There is a bathroom on each floor.
You will spend your free time not only on the terrace in front of the villa, but also on the terrace on the second floor, which offers a view of the breathtaking nature.
If you are planning a family vacation, you will especially enjoy the swings for the children in the garden.
The vacation villa is located just outside the ancient town of Buzet. Buzet is located in the north of Istria, near the border with Slovenia. Its historic town center from the Middle Ages is situated on a hill above a fertile valley along the longest river in Istria, the Mirna.
Today, Buzet is widely known as the town of truffles, as the forests along the Mirna are particularly rich in this wonderful tuber. According to some opinions, the white truffles of Istria are comparable to the white truffles of the famous truffle region of Alba in Italy. In honor of this truffle, the famous Truffle Festival is held every year in September and October.
On the second weekend in September, there is a very special attraction in Buzet - a gigantic omelette (also known as fritada or fritaja). Over 2000 eggs and 10 kilos of truffles are cooked in a huge pan. This event marks the official start of the truffle season in Istria.
There are several well-preserved medieval towns in the vicinity of Buzet.
