This stone villa is located in the medieval and romantic town of Buzet. Everything is kept in a very warm style that gives you a feeling of home. Villa Romano extends over 100m2 and can accommodate up to 5 people. The open plan first floor is very bright and airy and consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room which is flooded with natural light. The staircase leads to the 1st floor where you will find two beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has a double bed and one of them has an additional single bed. The rustic charm extends from the bedrooms to the villa's garden. The villa has a 24m2 private pool where you can cool off on hot summer days or simply enjoy the sun on the terrace. There is a barbecue in the carefully tended garden where you can prepare delicious meals to enjoy with your family and friends.

This villa is the perfect choice for families who want to spend their vacation in their own private villa or spend their time actively while discovering the hidden treasures of the Istrian county.The villa is located in the ancient town of Buzet in northern Istria, near the border with Slovenia. Its medieval town center is situated on a hill above the fertile valley of the longest river in Istria, the Mirna.



Today, Buzet is widely known as the town of truffles, as the forests along the Mirna are particularly rich in these wonderful tubers. According to some, the white truffles of Istria are comparable to the white truffles of the famous truffle region of Alba in Italy. In honor of this, the famous truffle festival takes place every year in September and October.



On the second weekend in September, there is a very special attraction in Buzet - a gigantic omelette (also known as a fritada). Over 2000 eggs and 10 kg of truffles are cooked in a huge pan. This event marks the official start of the truffle season.



There are several well-preserved medieval towns in the area around Buzet.
