In the very quite countrysite you find an old farmhouse with a fantasic seaview, perfect for families with children, small groups or the lovely Holidays for two.
We renovated it for modern comfort but it is still a house with original character.
Hiking and discovering, enjoying nature, exploring the real life like the Azorian, watching the whales, taking a break from everyday life, swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, preparing fresh fish on the barbecue or having a nice meal nearby, a good book borrow from our library (German) and enjoy nature in the garden, there are so many possibilities. If you have any questions, the local administration can always help you. We recommend that you book a rental car at the airport.
Directly at the house but you can also explore the island without a car and just take one of the countless ways up the mountain or down to the village and continue to the cliff. Even the direct ascent to the caldera at 1,000 m altitude is possible.
You want to swim. The Beach Almoxarive is marvelous.
